Heartbroken

I heard a lot about heart break so I wanted to write about it.

Hold On Pain Ends

They tell me with passion

You can make it through

You just have to be strong

 

But how?

I ask

How if I gave him everything?

 

He stole my love

He tore it up

He threw it away

 

And how am I supposed to be strong?

How can I be brave?

 

Because being heartbroken is just a stage

A matter of forgetting the past

A way of healing what has been broken

 

So get up and walk straight

Because you are no longer

Heartbroken



Do You Really Love Me

Questions are in the air and the one I hear the most is "Do you really love me?" so I wrote about it.

We don't talk as much

As we used to

You look at me

Differently

What have I done?....

To make you feel this way

Have I changed so much

That you can't look at me the same

So now I ask for you to answer

I love Peter Pan so I thought I could write a poem about him and Tinkerbell.

Hidden Love

I wrote this poem when I realized love was in the air and that anyone can fall in love whether they deny it or not.

For days

You have made me smile

 

For weeks

I felt great

 

For months

It began to grow

 

I thought it could never happen

But the way you look at me

Begged to differ

 

We can happen....

 

But time took its toll

I never got to show you my

Tinkerbell + Peter Pan

I can be your Tinkerbell
and you can be my Peter Pan
and we can run away together
off to Never Never Land

I wrote this when I found out the many sides to people, especially those who desire death.

Hearing faint voices

The guilt I have given

The hearts I have killed

Seeing the tears

Of beloved ones die,

As we take our final stroll

Thinking of my days

Where I ran in the sun

And was able to play all day

Afraid to Love

This is a poem that I wrote when I was learning the outcomes of love and this is what I am afraid of.

Afraid to Love

I'm not afraid to show the world who I am,

for I am special in my own way

I am not afraid to get back up

because I will be stronger than ever

I am not afraid to do what is right

because that shows that I am great

I am not afraid to run

because I have speed

I am not afraid to fight

for I have a great will

However I am afraid to Love

because I will be broken to pieces

after a matter of

seconds.
